White tailed tropic bird is another name for Payanke. To bring attention to the environmental life of Seychelles, Gabriella Gontheir made this beautiful Payanke bird costume. The Payanke has over 6500 pairs found largely in the Seychelles.

Even UNESCO has vested interest in that special breed. Only three species of this bird is left. Gabriella Gontheir could have worn something to reflect the tourist attractions of the dream Island of Seychelles but it would be no surprise. Her costume choice reflects other aspects of Seychelles.
